On April 30, Clayton Wayne Seale, 22, of
Lamkin, pled guilty in the 220th District Court to Possession of
Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) greater than 4 grams but less
than 200 grams.
In July 2006 the Comanche County
Sheriff's Office began an investigation after Seale had reported a
home invasion to the Sheriff's Office. During the initial
investigation Deputies found 4.9 grams of Methamphetamine, equipment
and all but one ingredient used to manufacture Methamphetamine.
Narcotics Investigator Ron Moe continued
the investigation after the arrest. In January 2007 Hamilton County
Sheriff’s Office arrested Seale on a Comanche County warrant and
during the investigation found approximately nine grams of
Methamphetamine. As a result of the Hamilton County arrest
Investigator Moe and Sheriff Jeff Lambert located a complete lab and
approximately 94.74 grams of Methamphetamine in Lamkin.
Investigator Moe concluded his
investigation by charging Seale with Manufacture Delivery of
Controlled Substance greater than 4 gram but less than 200 grams a
first-degree felony. Clayton Seale accepted a plea offer from the
220th District Attorney’s Office of 15 years in the Texas Department
of Criminal Justice. The plea offer included both Comanche and
Hamilton Counties’ second-degree felonies and Comanche County’s
first-degree felony. A second-degree felony has the punishment range
of two to twenty years confinement and a first-degree felony has a
range of five to ninety-nine years confinement.
In April 2007, Narcotic Investigator Ron
Moe obtained arrest warrants based on two unrelated seven-month
investigations. Arrested were Lucy Amaya, 26, of DeLeon, for Delivery
of Controlled Substance greater than one gram but less than 4 grams, a
Second Degree Felony; Michael Diaz, 18 of Comanche, for Delivery of
Controlled Substance less than one gram, a State Jail Felony; Aaron
Patrick, 28 of Comanche, for Possession of Controlled Substance less
than one gram, a State Jail Felony; and Rachel Bingham, 20 of
Comanche, for Possession of Controlled Substance less than one gram, a
State Jail Felony. A State Jail Felony carries the punishment range of
six months to two years confinement in TDCJ State Jail Facility.
Top Ten Most Wanted
Approximately six months ago the Comanche
County Sheriff's Office ran a Top Ten Most Wanted article in the area
newspapers. Among those names were Donald Carl Cox Jr. and Anthony
Spurger.
The Comanche County Sheriff's Office has
been attempting to locate Mr. Cox since September 2003 for Possession
of Chemicals with Intent to Manufacture Controlled Substance and Bail
Jumping. The Sheriff's Office has been attempting to locate Mr.
Spurger since September 2006 for Motion to Revoke Driving While
Intoxicated 3rd or more.
After several tips from the public, hours
of surveillance, and diligent work by Deputies both subjects were
arrested and awaiting further court action.
