As of Monday, July 10, John reports that they have received several inquiries, but have not yet struck any deal for a new facilities operator.

PARK CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS. Workers are busy erecting the steel building that will house the ticket office and restroom facilities at DeLeon’s Festival Gardens Park. An open air amphitheater will be built on the elevated ground in the background where the tractor is parked. The park construction is being funded by a $500,000 matching grant from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department.
