PARK
CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS. Workers have been very busy recently out at
the new Festival Gardens Park preparing for two large concrete
placements. In the foreground, the dance floor slab of the
amphitheater is already in place. Concrete forms, plumbing and
wiring conduits are also in place for the amphitheater stage. In
the background, contractor employees are working on the ticket
building forms. Concrete is scheduled to be poured this coming
Thursday with steel erection to begin shortly thereafter. Highway
6, east of DeLeon, and L&R Diesel Repair can be seen in the
distant background. |
