The Lady Bearcats were in action at Hico this past Friday night in what proved to be a very interesting game. Not only did the game have several lead changes, but it was played in some very strong wind that caused many problems for both the Lady Cats and Lady Tigers in fielding the ball.

The Lady Cats were able to jump out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning and a half before Hico was able to score its first two runs. At the end of the first two innings, the Lady Cats were on top by a 3-2 score.

In the third inning the Lady Cats were able to extend their lead by scoring two runs while Hico was only able to get one to cross the plate giving the Lady Cats a 5-3 lead.

In the fifth inning, Hico outscored the Lady Cats 1-2 to bring the score to 6-5 in DeLeonšs favor after five complete innings of play.

In the sixth inning, the Lady Cats were unable to get any runners across the plate. Hico on the other hand was able to score three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take the lead for the first time in the ball game by a 6-8 score.

After DeLeon was unable to score in the top of the seventh, the ball game was finished with the Hico Lady Tigers on top 6-8.

The Lady Cats only have two games left this season. They will host Dublin and travel to Hamilton for the final game of the season.
